Adult Therapy

Individual psychotherapy is intended to be a collaborative and meaningful process, rooted in a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.

The goal is to not only alleviate distress and facilitate repair, but also to experience benefits such as greater self-worth and an increased capacity for developing and maintaining healthy, satisfying relationships. In taking a psychodynamic approach, we emphasize and value an understanding of an individual’s past experiences, relational patterns, and coping styles, and trust that by developing greater insights into their current functioning, an individual can meet their full potential and experience lasting change. We work with adults across the lifespan and welcome each patient with acceptance, curiosity, and a solemn commitment to this sacred process.
